Let’s Dye My Hat
I’d love to share my mini-experiment with restoring my Jaquemus hat, which got discolored after many travels and sunbathing on the beach.
It took me less than 30 min and I love the result!
Here’s all you need:
- salt
- dish soap
- rit dye
- boiled water
As you can see in my quick video, all I did is –
- boiled water first
- prepared the bucket
- put a bit of salt
- put a tiny bit of soap
- put a good amount of dye
- poured hot water
After soaking my hat in the colored water, I let it dry for about an hour or 2. After that I rinsed it off and let it dry completely.
That’s it! Simple and easy 🙂
