WARNING: these breakfast ideas are addictive! If you try, you’ll fall in love:

1. Overnight choco oats

Time: 5 min

This breakfast has literally changed my life! It takes just 5 minutes in the evening to make it and another 1 minute to take it out of your fridge in the morning.

All you need is:

  • 30g of oats

     •  cup of any milk (I prefer an almonde one)

    •  1/2 tsp of cocoa powder

      • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon powder

      • 10g of banana

First, take any small jar and put your oats inside. Second, pour some milk into the same jar. After that, chop the banana and add it to the previous ingredients. The last step: add cocoa and cinnamon powder and mix it all with a fork. Cover the jar with a piece of food wrap and put it in the fridge. When you wake up, the breakfast will be already prepared.

2. Shakshouka

Time: 15 min

It’s likely some of you have never heard about this dish. However, you should absolutely try it. It tastes fantastic!

A small history reference: “Shakshouka” is a popular breakfast in Israel that can be found in almost every cafe there. It is believed that this dish has became a part of Israeli cuisine along with Jewish immigrants from the Maghreb.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp of olive oil for frying
  • a pinch of cumin
  • a pinch of oregano
  • ⅓ of onion
  • ½ of chili pepper
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 100g of chopped tomatoes in their own juice
  • 2 tbsp of tomato juice
  • 2 eggs
  • herbs (parsley, coriander)
  • 1,5 tsp of feta
  • solt, pepper

Chop some onion, garlic and chili pepper. Put it in a pan with oil, cumin and oregano and fry till vegetables start giving out juice. After that, add your tomatoes and some tomato juice. Don’t forget to stir and stew everything during 1 min. The mixture has to be kind of liquid.

Add some salt, pepper and herbs. Then carefully break your eggs so that the yolks do not spread and add feta cheese. Turn down the fire. Well, we are on the finish line! Just cover your pan with a lid and wait for 3 min. Your perfect Israeli breakfast is ready! Just sprinkle the dish with chopped parsley and coriander. Serve with pita bread.

3. Chia pudding with mango sauce

Time: 5 min

Another one fantastic overnight breakfast you should absolutely try.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp of chia seeds
  • 10 tbsp of coconut milk
  • 50g of mango puree

Yeah! That’s all! Just 3 ingredients. And 3 steps!

You should just put your chia seeds in a small jar and mix it with some milk. After that, take canned mango puree (either mash it yourself or use a blender). Put a mix of seeds and milk in the fridge for a night. In the morning take it out and add a mango puree as a second layer. Voila! Enjoy your yummy high protein breakfast.

I guarantee you everyone will like these 3 breakfast ideas. Don’t be shy with experiments.

Enjoy your breakfast and have a great day!
